SeaWorld takes families below the surface, above the waves and beyond their expectations. More than 200 acres of up-close animal encounters, thrilling attractions and lavish performances immerse guests in the mysteries of the sea. Whether riding a flying manta ray, getting drenched by Shamu, meeting dolphins, braving astounding thrill rides, counting the teeth on a shark or feeding seals and sea lions, vacation adventures become lifelong memories at SeaWorld.

Some attractions:

  • Manta - is a seamless blend of up-close animal encounters with a head-first, face-down thrill ride. The only flying roller coaster of its kind in the world, Manta already is topping the list of don’t-miss 2010 theme park attractions.
  • Kraken – Orlando’s only floorless roller coaster – is themed after a massive, mythological underwater beast unleashed from the depths of the sea. Riders’ feet dangle as they travel in open-sided seats, riding on a pedestal above the track at speeds of 65 mph to heights of more than 140 feet.
  • Journey to Atlantis - is an edge-of-your-seat water-coaster -- part water ride, part roller coaster -- thrill ride that plunges guests into the middle of a clash for the lost city of Atlantis. Riders encounter spine-tingling thrills, including two of the steepest, wettest and fastest drops to be found at any theme park in the world.
  • Wild Arctic - takes guests on a thrilling, motion-based flight over the frozen North where they are enveloped in the beauty, exhilaration and danger of Arctic exploration. Stepping from the simulated jetcopter experience they enter a frozen wonderland with live beluga whales, walruses, harbor seals and polar bears.
  • One Ocean - is SeaWorld’s all-new new killer whale show, debuting late spring. The show connects guests to the sea, and killer whales, with a new level of energy and excitement while it educates and inspires them to make a difference in this world.
  • Blue Horizons - is a breakthrough theatrical spectacular that showcases graceful dolphins and false killer whales, a rainbow of exotic birds and an entire cast of world-class divers and aerialists draped in elaborate costumes. The vivid imagination of a young girl sets the stage for an emotional adventure to experience the power of the sea and the elegance of flight.
  • Clyde and Seamore Take Pirate Island - stars the park's hilarious sea lions, otters and walrus in a swashbuckling adventure and a sensational tale of lost loot, pirate plunder and misadventure on the high seas.
  • Pets Ahoy! - is a comical show featuring the talents of a menagerie of dogs, cats, birds, rats, skunks, pot-belly pigs, and other animals performing a series of uproarious and amazing skits. Most impressive is the fact that nearly all of the fabulous four-legged celebs were rescued from animal shelters before they found their fame at SeaWorld.
  • A'Lure … The Call of the Ocean - tells the spectacular tale of the Sea Sirens, whose hypnotic calls have lured fisherman into their underwater lairs for centuries. It's a mariner’s story that comes to life with flying athletic performers, gravity-defying aerial tumblers and amazing silk yo-yo artists.
  • Key West at SeaWorld - spans five acres and celebrates the legendary mystique and animals of the Florida Keys while it immerses guests in the quirky, carefree ambiance of America's southernmost city. Guests may feed and touch dolphins in a tropical lagoon with rolling waves, a sandy beach, underwater viewing and naturalistic coral reef -- as well as feed stingrays and see endangered sea turtles up-close.
  • Manatee Rescue - submerges guests in the beautiful underwater world of the endangered Florida manatee. All of the manatees in this habitat have been rescued by SeaWorld’s animal rescue team, and those who become healthy enough will be returned to their natural habitat. The attraction was named best new zoological exhibit in the country by The American Zoological Association (AZA).
  • Pacific Point Preserve - is home to California sea lions and harbor seals. The 2½-acre naturalistic setting duplicates the rocky Northern Pacific coast.
  • Shark Encounter - takes guests underwater, surrounding them with the spine-chilling denizens of the deep, including eels, barracuda, venomous fish, and sharks. The 60-foot shark tunnel in SeaWorld's Shark Encounter attraction is formed of acrylic panels weighing up to 5,000 pounds, and able to support the pressure of more than 500 tons of water.
  • Dolphin Nursery - is home to dolphin mothers and their newborn calves.
  • Penguin Encounter - is home to more than 200 penguins and puffins. Featuring six species of penguins -- king, gentoo, adelie, macaroni, chinstrap and rockhopper -- the animal habitat is kept at a chilly 30 degrees and the water an icy 45 degrees. Six thousand pounds of snow fall daily inside the naturalistic habitat, which is reminiscent of the Antarctic’s rocky cliffs and frigid waters. Guests ride a 120-foot-long moving walkway through the frozen wonderland to watch the playful birds cavort both above, and under the water.

Aquatica, from high-speed water slides and exhilarating wave pools, to tranquil beaches and the remarkable animal habitats that are the hallmark of SeaWorld, Aquatica delights all ages and interests. This one-of-a-kind waterpark is home to some of the world’s most thrilling water rides, featuring 36 slides, six rivers and lagoons and more than 80,000 square feet of sparkling white, sandy beaches. Aquatica’s exclusive attractions promise unlimited fun, sending guests on amazing undersea adventures and through breathtaking animal exhibits.

Some Attractions:

  • Dolphin Plunge - Showcasing the park’s most distinctive animals, Dolphin Plunge takes riders down 250 feet of clear tubes, underwater, and through Aquatica’s beautiful Commerson’s dolphin habitat. Guests who prefer to see these stunning black-and-white marine mammals without taking the plunge may sneak a peek at Dolphin Lookout. Riders must be at least 48 inches tall (1.22m).
  • Omaka Rocka - Omaka Rocka is a waterslide taste of half-pipe, near-vertical thrills previously experienced only by daring skateboarders and snowboarders. Riders speed down flumes into massive funnels, sliding high up one side and then the other, rocking back and forth, feeling a sensation of near weightlessness. Coming out of the funnel, they’ll skim into a drenching splashdown and then find themselves wanting to do it all over again.
  • Big Surf Shores & Cutback Cove - Guests can catch a wave in the world’s only side-by-side wave pools capable of operating together or independently. Filled with a combined 860,000 gallons of water, these enormous wave pools deliver very different experiences. Cutback Cove produces crashing waves with 5-foot swells while Big Surf Shores creates gently-rolling surf.
  • Roa's Rapids - This adventure river zips guests through 1,500 feet of rapids, past geysers and through waterfalls at a speed three to four times faster than a typical waterpark river.
  • Loggerhead Lane - For a slower pace, this lazy river floats guests through a spectacular underwater view of the Commerson’s dolphins, past exotic birds and through a beautiful 10,000-gallon habitat of hundreds of exotic fish.
  • Taumata Racer - For those who prefer life in the fast lane, Taumata Racer speeds riders down a 300-foot slide, in and out of tunnels and around a 360-degree turn before racing them across the finish line.
The lengthy title translates roughly as, “The hilltop where Tamatea with big knees, conqueror of mountains, eater of land, traveler over land and sea, played his koauau to his beloved.” Riders must be at least 42 inches tall (1.07m).
  • Hooroo Run - Crikes! Hooroo Run rafters experience a sense of weightlessness as they soar down this 6-story, 250-foot, triple-drop water ride. The 7-foot-wide flume takes four riders at a time on a straight shot down -- three times! While the popular Australian term “G’day” means hello, its counterpart “Hooroo” means quite the opposite. Riders must be at least 42 inches tall (1.07m).
  • Walhalla Wave - This family raft ride splashes four guests at a time down six stories and through 600 feet of tunnels, twists and turns. The enclosed flume is on the same tower as Hooroo Run, but offers a slightly slower journey. Riders must be at least 42 inches tall (1.07m).
  • Tassie Twister - Adventurous rafters delight in the twirling sensations of this ride as they spin and splash through a tunnel and into a sparkling pool below. The 129-foot flume takes single or double inner tubes into a super bowl, spins riders around and drops them into Loggerhead Lane. Riders must be able to maintain proper riding position and hold on to handles unassisted.
  • Whanau Way - Seated in double inner tubes, riders head down 5-story slides filled with thrilling drops, unexpected curves and cascading water curtains. At the top of the tower, guests may choose one of four colorful slides, each of which will send them down 340 feet and splash them into a crystal blue pool. Riders must be able to maintain proper riding position and hold on to handles unassisted.
  • Walkabout Waters - Splash! This interactive water playground is 15,000 square feet of pure water excitement. This 60-foot-tall colorful water adventure is the perfect playground for kids to zip down slides and blast water cannons. Height restrictions vary by slide, guests should consult park signage or lifeguards for guidelines.
  • Kata's Kookaburra Cove - This irresistible water wonderland for children contains 79,000 gallons of water and features plentiful fountains, rides and slides. Highlights include Slippity Dippity, Slider Rider, Racer Chaser and Zippity Zappity. Tiny tots –- even those too young to walk –- can enjoy sliding with mom and dad in specially designed rafts. Riders must be under 48 inches (1.22m).
